COVID-19 Safety Precautions

Hope Solutions is thrilled to offer this in-person and live stream event. We want everyone to feel welcome and safe. 

We are so looking forward to gathering with you on Saturday! As a reminder, when we made the decision to postpone the event, we committed to putting in place safety protocols for the health and comfort of all guests. We understand that many people evaluated these protocols carefully when deciding whether to attend. And while the rules have been changing daily and we understand the protocols we agreed to in February may seem a bit overly cautious, we want to fulfill the promises we made to you all several months back. To that end, please find a summary of our safety protocols below.

The COVID-19 protocols for the in-person event include:

1. Proof of vaccination and booster. We are asking guests to be double vaccinated and boosted. All guests will be asked to show proof of vaccination and their Photo ID upon arrival at the event. Guests will receive a simple black band to wear on their wrist that indicates they have shown vaccination status.

2. Know Before You Go: Negative COVID-19 test within 24 hours of the event. All guests are requested to have a negative COVID-19 test within 24 hours of the event. For vaccinated guests, pre-event COVID-19 tests will be on the honor system.

3. If a guest is not vaccinated, proof of a negative (rapid) COVID-19 test within 24 hours of the event is requested. Proof of negative test can emailed to rubyslippers@hopesolutions.org or brought to the event.

4. COVID-19 Tests. Rapid COVID-19 tests will be available on-site for those who wish to test there.

5. Masking. Masks will be required at the gala unless eating or drinking.

Any guest testing positive for COVID-19 or exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms regardless of vaccination status should not attend the gala.

The COVID-19 Protocols for the Ruby Slippers gala will also be emailed to all pre-registered guests with email addresses. If you did NOT submit your email address with your ticket or sponsorship purchase, email it to cveurink@hopesolutions.org. Please include all guest names and email addresses.
